2027 International Conference on Intelligent Libraries and Knowledge Engineering

The 2027 International Conference on Intelligent Libraries and Knowledge Engineering (ILKE 2027) is scheduled to be held on April 16-18, 2027 in Wuhan, Hubei, China. Focusing on intelligent libraries and knowledge engineering, the conference addresses both the academic frontier and engineering practice of library transformation, knowledge organization and open science under new-generation information technologies.

Driven by the rapid development of large language models, knowledge graphs and intelligent recommendation, smart libraries are evolving from traditional collection and lending services toward intelligent information service platforms that support knowledge discovery, user profiling, semantic retrieval and immersive experiences. Meanwhile, knowledge engineering, as a bridge between artificial intelligence and real-world applications, is finding growing use in digital publishing, research evaluation, open science and educational data governance. ILKE 2027 aims to provide a high-level, interdisciplinary forum for researchers and practitioners worldwide.

The conference features keynote speeches from distinguished scholars, peer-reviewed paper presentations, poster sessions, workshops, as well as journal collaborations and industry matchmaking events. Selected papers will be published in conference proceedings and submitted to EI Compendex and Scopus for indexing.

Wuhan, the "Thoroughfare of Nine Provinces", is a major educational and transportation hub in central China, home to over 100 universities including Wuhan University and Huazhong University of Science and Technology, with renowned programs in library & information science and data science.
